Sunstick Designcreates modern, stylish products for the home and interior design – inspired by the classic Solstickepojken. With a clear focus on quality and design, the company combines Swedish design tradition with social benefit. A portion of the proceeds go toThe Solstickan Foundation, which has worked for generations to support children and the elderly in Sweden. Solstickan Design sells directly to consumers via its own Shopify store.

Challenge

Solstickan Design wanted to elevate their existing Shopify store to improve user experience and increase conversion rates. The focus was on creating a more engaging, easy-to-navigate, and modern D2C experience that reflects the brand's visual identity and values.

Solution

Stride developed a new design for the entire storefront and built a custom version of the Shopify store. The work included:

  • A completely new navigation structure with a modern and clear menu

  • Updated product cards with built-in “add to cart” function

  • Visual breadcrumbs for improved navigation

  • Functionality to suggest suitable accessories directly in the shopping cart
  • Optimization for mobile users for maximum accessibility

Everything was packaged in a responsive, pixel-perfect design that lifted the brand's expression and created a more conversion-driven user experience.

With the new solution, Solstickan Design has taken a clear step forward digitally. The improved navigation and updated product flow have led to increased user-friendliness and a stronger connection between the brand and the customer journey.
