Background

Cappelen Dimyr is a Scandinaviansoft interior ateliercombining unique craftsmanship with premium bohemian aesthetics. The range consists of handmade rugs, wall textiles and other exclusive interior design products – created to bring stylish and sophisticated homes to life.

The brand is strongly visually driven and needed to refine its digital presence and create a scalable flow for retailers globally.

Challenge

The company's D2C store needed a design boost in conjunction with a new graphic profile. At the same time, there was a business-critical need to build a functioning B2B channel – without compromising on the brand's expression or user experience.

Therefore, a solution was needed that could combine:

  • A visualfaceliftfor the consumer side
  • A robustB2B structurein Shopify Plus
  • Migration of existing data and onboarding of resellers

Solution

Stride was responsible for two central parts of the project:

  1. D2C: New frontend

    We implemented a new modern storefront that reflects Cappelen Dimyr's new visual identity. The updated design elevates the brand and creates a more inspiring and converting customer experience.
  2. B2B: Migration and setup in Shopify Plus

    We migrated all relevant data and built a reseller structure in Shopify Plus. The new B2B solution enables separate price lists, access control, smoother order flows, and scalable management of global resellers.

Results

Cappelen Dimyr now has a strong and unified Shopify solution that supports both D2C and B2B. The visual experience for end customers has been elevated to a new level, while the retailer flow has become more professional and automated. The platform is now ready for continued international expansion – with the same attention to detail that defines the brand.
