Challenge

Bluebird had an outdated e-commerce solution that couldn’t meet the company’s growing needs. They lacked a stable and flexible platform that could integrate seamlessly with Microsoft Business Central to streamline product and order management. To better meet the demands of both B2B and B2C customers, Bluebird needed a more powerful solution that could support growth and increased service.

Stride helped Bluebird Medical implement a Shopify Plus solution that included:

Seamless integration with Microsoft Business Central:To ensure efficient data management between Shopify and Microsoft Business Central, Stride used Microsoft’s official connector to sync products and orders. To meet Bluebird’s specific needs, Stride also developed a custom app with an API to sync companies, business locations, price lists, and users between the systems.

  2. Flexible and robust B2B and B2C solution:With Shopify Plus as a foundation, Bluebird was able to create an e-commerce solution that suits both private and B2B customers. Shopify Plus provides the flexibility to tailor shopping experiences for each customer segment, strengthening Bluebird's position as a trusted supplier to both small and large healthcare providers.

Custom integrations:To handle all the data flows that Bluebird needed beyond what was available in the standard connector, Stride built its own API integrations to ensure full control over the flow of information. This gives Bluebird a stable platform that streamlines their workflows and ensures that all important data is available directly in Shopify.
